Adult Sunday School
Scripture is most meaningful when read slowly, so that time is given for each lesson to be written onto the heart. One particularly useful practice is to read the same passage of scripture in devotions for an entire week. In this spirit, our Adult Bible Study meets each week after worship and looks at the passage on which the pastor will preach the following week. This discussion serves as a starting point so that participants can take the questions, ideas, and challenges of the group and wrestle with them throughout the week during their personal devotions.
Additionally, there are topical adult education classes, which run 4-5 weeks and are taught by the pastor during this Adult Education hour. Recent classes have included Worship (and what the theological implications of what we do each week) and Reading Scripture (how to take the task of interpretation and application seriously). |

Taiwanese Bible Study
We are blessed with much diversity at BRC, including a large number of folks for whom Taiwanese is their native language. While we all worship together as one, united body of Christ, there is a Bible Study on Friday evenings that is conducted in Taiwanese.
The Taiwanese language Bible Study provides an additional adult education opportunity for our congregants (and others in the community) who speak Taiwanese. |

BRC Women's Circles
There are two Circles that meet regularly for Fellowship, Prayer and Study during the Program Year.
Grace Circle selects a study guide for each year and rotates leadership of their discussions. This year's study is based on the Kerygma Program's book "Job and the Life of Faith" by Carol Bechtel. Past studies have included Jonah, Ruth, Women of the Bible, and various other Biblical Studies resources. The group meets on the first Thursday of each month.
Loyalty Circle uses the Upper Room Devotional as their study and discussion guide. They also rotate leadership responsibilities and meet on the third Tuesday of each month. |
Men's Fellowship Breakfast
Every Wednesday Morning at 8 AM all men of the congregation are invited to join for breakfast at the Atlantic Family Restaurant in Webster. This is an opportunity for the men to fellowship together and form a bond of community. |
