As a member of the Reformed Church in America, we affirm the sovereignty of God, the divinity of Jesus Christ and the continual presence and power of the Holy Spirit. Our doctrinal standards are the Holy Bible and the three confessions and three creeds accepted by the Reformed Church. We celebrate the Lord's Supper six or seven times a year and Baptism is scheduled on an as-needed basis.
Our worship service begins at 10:00 AM. Nursery care is provided during each worship service. We have a somewhat "blended" form of worship, utilizing traditional hymns as well as some ethnic and praise songs. Near the end of worship on the last Sunday of each month, a Service of Healing is led by the minister and an Elder. Those who wish to receive the anointing with oil, laying on of hands and prayer come forward to the kneeling bench. If persons are unable to do so, the minister and Elder go to them.
Music is an important part of our worship service. The handbell choir plays several times a year. The Chancel Choir sings often, supplemented by music presented by soloists or other groups.
